VILLA LUX 3514 is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom unit with the entrance on the ground floor, comprising of three storeys and located across the pond.
The property features a dedicated JoJo tank, providing a reliable source of backup water supply.
BEDROOMS LAYOUT
The spacious main bedroom, located on the top floor, is furnished with a queen size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom, on the entry floor, has a queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom, with a shower, toilet and basin. Bedrooms three and four are located on the lower level, with twin beds in one and a single-, and bunk bed in the other. The remaining bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin on the entry floor. (The fourth bedroom is ideally suited for children.
UNIT LAYOUT
Our guests love the two decks overlooking the pond where you will most likely have frequent visits from the wildlife drinking from the pond, with the sound of waves breaking in the background adding tranquillity to the environment. The living area features a lounge, a dining area and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, while the gas stove ensures instant cooking. The lounge area is furnished with comfortable couches, a coffee table and a TV with the selected DStv channels package. Uncapped Wi-Fi is available. The covered deck with a dining table and chairs allows for entertaining the family while enjoying the outdoor view of the pond. The villa is airconditioned throughout with an aircon in each bedroom.
CAPACITY
Capped at nine persons. (9th person should be below six years of age)
HOUSEKEEPING
Does a standard service on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays during the low-season. In mid-high season, the unit is serviced every day, except on Sundays and Public Holidays. Take note that long weekends and public-school holidays are included in the mid-season. *Additional services can be arranged at an extra cost, please notify us beforehand. This amount can also be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit.
Linen changes are scheduled for stays of longer than five days and will be scheduled during the middle of that period. Towel changes are done on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and on all new arrivals. Additional changes can be arranged at an extra fee. Please notify us beforehand.
PARKING
One covered parking space is provided, while additional vehicles must park at the hotel parking bays or at nearby open parking bays allocated in the estate.
GENERAL
Uncapped WIFI is provided and the codes are in the flip file located within the unit.
TAKE NOTE
South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped after a load-shedding restart and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we cannot guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply on the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem. We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
LOADSHEDDING
The unit is not equipped with a backup power source.
REMEMBER
This is a self-catering unit, and the unit is fitted with all basic cutlery items, but no food or replenishable stock. Please bring along your own beach towels.
