Villa 14012 is a lovely villa situated in San Lameer, a premier golfing estate on KwaZulu Natal’s South Coast. The 4-bedroom villa overlooks a forest, and offers slight sea views in the distance.


BEDROOMS LAYOUT

The villa has 4 en-suite bedrooms each with its own patio. Each bathroom has a bath, shower, basin, toilet and bidet. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with double size beds, while the other two bedrooms have 2 single beds each.


UNIT LAYOUT

The lobby and lounge area is equipped with a TV, and leads to a patio and an 18 metre swimming pool. The patio is equipped with a 10-seater dining table and 4 loungers, as well as a gas braai. The swimming pool is not fenced. The lounge gives access to 2 bedrooms and 2 staircases; these lead to 2 upstairs en-suite bedrooms, each with its own private patio. The upstairs landing leads to the roof terrace; the balustrade here is not a high balustrade, and is not advisable for children to use this terrace unsupervised.

The kitchen leads off the lounge, and is equipped with a 10-seater dining room table and chairs. There is an outside braai area with a gas braai outside the kitchen, with a tiled area for open-air dining. A handy window opens from a scullery onto a serving area next to the gas braai. There is a laundry on the opposite side of the house from the kitchen. The villa is equipped with air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi.

All linen and towels, including swimming towels are provided.


PARKING

There are 2 garages, as well as parking for 2 extra vehicles.


GENERAL

Guests need to pay San Lameer Reception R10 per armband, to gain access to the beach for the duration of your stay. This is done on check-in when collecting your keys.


TAKE NOTE

South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped after a load-shedding restart and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we cannot guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply on the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem. We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.


LOADSHEDDING

The unit is not equipped with a backup power source.


REMEMBER

This is a self-catering unit, and the unit is fitted with all basic cutlery items, but no food or replenishable stock. Please bring along your own beach towels.

The estate has various activities, including Access to two blue flag beaches, Lagoon, Beach and Sea Viewing Decks, Complimentary 9-hole Pitch & Putt course – Mashie, Table tennis at Leisure Desk and Clubhouse, MBT trail, Jogging, Bicycles For Hire, Fishing Dam - Catch and Release, Tennis and Squash Courts, Children Play Areas, Bowling Green, Paddle Boats and Stand-Up Paddle Boards, Climbing Walls for Children, 2 Swimming pools – Slides and Children’s Water Feature, Bird Viewing Dam and a Communal Braai area at the Beach Gate

With almost 160 km of beaches that become havens for swimming, surfing, fishing and diving, and rugged untamed landscape perfect for hiking and 4×4 expeditions, the natural wonders of the area are immediately apparent. Added to this are wildlife sanctuaries, stunning 18-hole golf courses and numerous adventure activities unique to the KZN South Coast.
