BEDROOMS LAYOUT

The main bedroom is sea facing and has a queen sized bed with a full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is also sea facing with a queen sized bed whilst bedroom three faces over the estate and has two single beds. Bedroom two and three share a full family bathroom.


UNIT LAYOUT

You enter via a spacious hall with a sweeping stairway to the first floor. The first floor is arranged with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (MES), kitchen, dining area and lounge and two balconies. The first floor kitchen is arranged around a central island / breakfast area and is fully equipped with appliances including a dishwasher, microwave and large American style double door fridge/freezer.

A six seater dining area is directly alongside the kitchen, making it easier to serve family breakfasts. A bifold door gives access to a small balcony and seating area with views over the Estate that catch the sunset over the hills behind. The lounge has seating for eight and flows onto the large covered patio to the front of the house with outdoor furniture. With its comfortable outdoor seating, direct views to the sea and orientation to catch the sunrise, this is a favourite spot for morning coffee.

The ground floor is a family and friends socialising space with an open plan layout of a TV area, dining area and bar / kitchenette equipped with microwave, dishwasher and refrigeration to service the outdoor braai area. Three sets of double doors welcome the cooling sea breeze and open onto the covered patio which provides an outdoor dining and relaxing space. Beyond the patio are stairs that give access to the raised garden and views to the sea and beach below. Also on the ground floor is a shower room and in the garage is the utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a table tennis table for a bit of fun.

HOUSEKEEPING

Does a standard service Mondays to Saturdays, excluding public holidays. Linen changes are scheduled for stays of longer than five days and will be scheduled during the middle of that period. Towel changes are done on every third day of your stay.


PARKING

Parking for two vehicles under the carport next to the property.


ESTATE

Facilities include a swimming pool and kiddies pool. There is also a kids playground in the Estate. We can't guarantee all the facilities will be working or operating during your stay, should the estate decide to implement maintenance or remove certain facilities.


LOADSHEDDING

The home is not equipped with a backup power source.


REMEMBER

Bring along your own beach towels. Don't forget this is a self-catering home and we will only stock essentials on arrival, like dishwashing liquid. Khumbula is a fabulous, private space for families and friends to enjoy “us time” to remember forever.

South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict the environment with electricity, water and beaches. Refunds are not possible on any of these instances beyond our control and advise guests to take the matter up with the suppliers.


AREA

Caribbean Estates is fortunate that it's located on the South Coast with tons of stuff to do in the area. However you do not have to leave the Estate to have a great time. It has plenty to do on the Estate, from nature walks, wildlife, fishing, to birding etc. If you tire of nature, you can play tennis, swim in one of 3 pools, watch your kids playing on the jungle gym and swings or you can treat yourself to a luxurious spa treatment at La Vita Spa. Very close to the every popular Wild Waves Waterpark and Wildocast Casino.
