The Links is a self-catering apartment located in Hermanus, a popular holiday town on the southern coast of the Western Cape. It is world-famous for having fantastic land and boat-based whale watching. Its scenic beauty, mild climate, outdoor activities, rich floral kingdom, and its close proximity to Cape Town make it the ideal base from which to explore the Cape Overberg.
This property boasts a 5.5kW inverter coupled with a powerful 5kW battery system. This combination ensures uninterrupted functionality of essential household appliances during load-shedding, providing peace of mind even in times of power outages. Notably high load appliances will not be operational during load-shedding, including the geyser and oven/stove.
BEDROOMS LAYOUT
The main bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom is equipped with two single beds. There are both bath and shower facilities in the apartment.
UNIT LAYOUT
An open-plan living area and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area has seating space for 6 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a Smart TV. The apartment also has WiFi, one aircon and a roof fan.

HOUSEKEEPING
No housekeeping but additional services can be arranged at an extra cost, please notify us beforehand. There will be toilet paper on arrival. If guests stay longer than a night or 2, they'll have to buy more.

A lock-up garage is available for guests.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.

Bring along your own beach towels. Don't forget this is a self-catering apartment and we will only stock essentials on arrival, like dishwashing liquid.

AREA
Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay. The Old Harbour Museum is a site encompassing the old harbour, a fishermen’s village and the Whale House Museum. The latter has informative displays and a suspended skeleton of a whale.
